Pantry To Go Mobile Food Distributions

Feeding the Foothills is the premier hunger relief organization serving Placer, El Dorado, and Nevada Counties. We are a proud member of Feeding America and work in partnership with over 90 local community agencies to serve more than 500,000 individuals across our three counties each year.

We operate 10 monthly food distribution sites in Placer and El Dorado counties, and rely heavily on volunteers to keep them running smoothly. With between 10-40 volunteers, depending on each location, we serve thousands of our neighbors every month. Our distributions provide staple non-perishable food items like pasta, beans, rice, and other canned items, plus 5-7 types of fresh produce. When available, we also bring other items that we have in stock like baked goods, snack foods, and more. 

Our distributions are open to anyone and everyone in need, we have no criteria, requirements, or other barriers to entry. We collect minimal, completely anonymous data from our clients to help us plan how much food to bring at future distributions, but everything remains internal and no names or identifying information is ever gathered.
