Outreach and CalFresh

Help us spread the word about Feeding the Foothills and our programs. We are often invited to local events, farmer's markets, schools, and other gatherings to share resources with folks and help more people get connected with the services we offer. We also support our awesome CalFresh staff team who attend these events to help people sign up for CalFresh, which is California's food stamp program. 

Volunteers will be trained to talk folks through the variety of resources that FTF offers, and frequently asked questions about our programs, partner agencies, and operations. We will train you on how to pre-screen CalFresh applicants and make sure they have everything they need to apply for benefits. 

This is a great opportunity to help us get more people involved with the food bank and connect people with available food resources in their community.
